View from Heidi's grandparents farm. Her family farm has been here for hundreds of years.
Another ferry boat coming out of a small cove. Gives you kinda an idea of how steep the walls are. They are seriously immense.
One of the captains of the boat jumped off to give the goats a treat which was basically a whole loaf of bread.
These goats came pretty close to falling in just to wait for us to come up so they could get some food.
Enjoying my time up on the bow.
Here is a view of the waterfall from directly below. Amazing!
Driving up to the waterfall.
The boat captain drove the boat all the way up to the side of the fjord wall so he could capture some of the water in his pail for us to drink. How Sweet!
Theres tons of waterfalls in Norway and especially in Stavanger it seems. These were everywhere, some cascading down hundreds of feet.
Here is a cool photo of the Pulpit peering out of the fog. There are actuall hikers sitting up on top but you can only see them if you have eagle eyes like me :)
Here is the "Pulpit", I guess it is 75 feet wide but doesn't look it from this photo.
In Stavanger we took a ferry out to the "Pulpit Rock" which was amazing. In Norwegian it's called "Preikestolen" which the boat is named after.
Taking photos of sheep is fun!
A better idea of how big these things are.
The 3 swords again. Harfsfjord it's called.

Here ya go Cathy, here is one for you!
The grass mounds you see in front are the actuall buildings half underground. Animals were kept inside as well as the farmers. Beautifull view.
On an old iron age farm. Taking some photos of a sheep.
The three swords in Stavanger,, I don't know the name of this. In memory of a viking battle in 1033ad.
A girl with her airdale, thats not how you spell airdale is it?
Look it's a beach near Stavanger with normal sand! Me trying to reload some film.
Near the town where Heidi's grandparents are from there are a lot of Stangeland's, this name found on the side of a diesel truck at a gas station
